X-RAY scanning
X-ray images are the parts of medical treatment. If you visit your doctor, you will probably get one.
For many reasons it`s really useful to have a digital copy of your x-ray images:
-You can send these pictures via email to several doctors;
-No matter where are the originals, you always will have them on your computer;
-You don`t need backlight to look the images, counter to the films.
We work for hospitals too, usually we digitize whole archives for them.
The film size can be various, we scan from the small dental x-rays to the 60 cm long chest, or CT images.
Regarding the technique of scanning it`s quite similiar to slide scanning: We have to clean the films, because every small particle on image can mean something to doctors`s eyes. After this, we add a bright backlight and take a digital copy through a low distortion optics. The images will be copied to computer in 18Mpixels of size RAW images. In de finalizing process, we cut round the images, boost the details, and save them into high quality jpg files.
You can take the pictures on DVD, on pendrive, or we can email them too.
